NAF Destroys Key Terrorist Base in Sambisa with Precision Airstrike

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), acting under the directive of Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, has recorded a major success in its ongoing counterterrorism efforts. On 19 November 2025, a precision air interdiction mission targeted ARRA, a well-known terrorist stronghold in the Sambisa area.

According to Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information, the Air Component of the Joint Task Force Operation HADIN KAI launched the operation after extensive intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions tracked terrorist activities following the 17 October ambush on ground forces at Kashomri.

The operation successfully destroyed all designated targets, dealing a significant blow to the terrorists’ operational capabilities and crippling their command and logistics networks.

This achievement highlights the NAF’s steadfast commitment to national security, support for ground troops, and sustained pressure on terrorist elements across all operational theatres.
