Fearless Energy took centre stage at the 11th Africa Knock Out martial arts championship in Lagos, energizing an evening of high-octane bouts that showcased some of Africa’s most promising fighters.

Held at La Madison Place, Lekki, on November 15, the event drew a vibrant crowd and delivered gripping contests across multiple weight divisions, cementing the championship’s growing influence in African combat sports.

This year, Fearless Energy Drink sponsored the championship, with organisers noting that the partnership aims to nurture martial arts development in Nigeria while inspiring young athletes. They emphasized that the collaboration aligns with the event’s mission to discover and elevate emerging champions from across the continent.

The headline middleweight clash between Chad Hanekom of South Africa and Jordan Fongno of Cameroon went the distance, with Fongno clinching a split-decision victory, showcasing his rising prominence in the division.

Featherweight action saw Tulundat Daniel of Angola overcome Bibi Zazah of Ivory Coast in a hard-fought three-round battle. Nigerian fighters shone on home soil, with Stephen Akintewe defeating Jamiu Musa in a bantamweight showdown, while Pelejah Osoba secured a decisive lightweight win over Lonan Fanghamou of Equatorial Guinea. Another bantamweight contest ended with Peter Onuh besting Eberechukwu Ibeh.

Organisers hailed the 11th edition as a showcase of explosive action, skill, and competitive spirit, further solidifying the championship’s status as a premier stage for African fighters.
