Dangote Cement Chairman to Speak at ICC Nigeria 2025 Annual Dinner

Emmanuel Ikazoboh, Chairman of Dangote Cement Plc, will serve as the Special Guest of Honour and Guest Speaker at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Nigeria 2025 Annual Dinner and Dance. The event is set for Friday, 28 November 2025, at the Metropolitan Club, Victoria Island, Lagos, the Chamber announced on Tuesday.

Olubunmi Osuntuyi, Secretary-General of ICC Nigeria, described Ikazoboh as a distinguished corporate leader with extensive expertise in global business and governance. He is scheduled to deliver a keynote address titled “Tackling Global Trade Frictions for Peace and Prosperity”, focusing on stabilising economies amid international trade tensions and tariff disputes.

Dr Raymond Ihyembe, ICC Nigeria Chairman and Chief Host of the event, praised the choice of theme and speaker, highlighting the dinner as an important platform to foster economic stability and progress. The gathering will bring together industry leaders, diplomats, policymakers, and members of the international business community for an evening of networking, strategic discussions, and celebration.

Osuntuyi also noted that the event will feature the launch of the ICC Framework for Responsible Environmental Marketing Communication and new guidelines on the ethical use of artificial intelligence in advertising. As Nigeria’s representative committee of the global ICC—an organisation representing over 45 million companies in more than 170 countries—ICC Nigeria continues to provide a bridge connecting local industries to international markets while promoting global best practices.
