Edo Governor Says He Will Resign If Tinubu Loses Edo in 2027

Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has stated that he will resign from office if President Bola Ahmed Tinubu fails to win Edo State in the 2027 presidential election.

Okpebholo expressed confidence in Tinubu’s support across the state, claiming that there is virtually no opposition to the president in Edo.

He highlighted the development projects his administration has carried out under Tinubu’s leadership as evidence that the state will back the president in the upcoming election.

The governor also reiterated his commitment to deliver votes for Tinubu, emphasizing his belief that Edo State will strongly support the president in 2027.
