The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board has announced that candidates shortlisted for physical screening and document verification in its ongoing recruitment exercise will be made available starting December 1. Applicants are urged to check the board’s recruitment portal from December 1 to 3 to confirm their status.

Abdulmalik Jubril, the Secretary to the Board, said candidates who performed well have been shortlisted based on merit. He advised them to visit the portal and select their preferred screening venue and date. The recruitment exercise covers the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Federal Fire Service, Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, and CDCFIB.

The screening for successful applicants is scheduled to take place from December 8 to December 12, 2025, across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. Jubril emphasized that all official communication regarding the exercise will only be through the board’s portal, warning candidates to disregard emails or other messages.

He congratulated the shortlisted applicants and stressed that the selection process was conducted in line with the Federal Character principle and the specific staffing needs of each service.
