In a remarkable show of compassion and leadership, Hon Lucky Udoka Nweke Johnson, the distinguished member representing Isuikwuato State Constituency at the Abia State House of Assembly, has announced a transformative housing project for Mr Ugeh, a native of Amaji Amagwu Umuasua community.

During a visit yesterday to Amaokwe Amaba community, Isuikwuato, our team observed the difficult living conditions where Mr Ugeh has been squatting with his family. His return to his hometown after more than twenty years has been overshadowed by the absence of a place he could truly call home. His prolonged stay away was driven by a harsh reality: he simply had no shelter of his own in the community.

Moved by his situation, Hon Lucky Johnson has stepped forward with a bold and compassionate intervention. Arrangements have been finalized for the swift construction of a well planned 2 bedroom bungalow, crafted to offer dignity, comfort and stability to Mr Ugeh and his family.

His story came to light through the efforts of Mr Emeka Isaac, popularly known as Emeka Ocha, a young entrepreneur who played a significant role in drawing Hon Johnson’s attention to the family’s condition.

Following the team’s report from the visit, Hon Lucky Johnson immediately directed his engineers to mobilize and begin groundwork tomorrow morning. In addition, Emeka Ocha has also pledged his support to the family.

In recent times, Hon Lucky Johnson has continued to demonstrate an uncommon devotion to the welfare of Isuikwuato people. Beyond this new housing intervention, he has championed several life touching initiatives across the constituency including providing scholarships to indigent students, installing solar powered streetlights in underserved communities, empowering youths with tools and opportunities for self reliance, attracting employment slots for young people and extending compassionate support to the aged. This latest gesture simply reinforces his growing legacy as a leader whose actions consistently uplift families and strengthen the fabric of Isuikwuato.
