Abia Governor Otti Signs 2026 Budget into Law, Pledges Focus on Development

The Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, has officially signed the 2026 Appropriation Bill into law, marking a significant milestone in the state’s fiscal planning. The signing ceremony, which took place at the Government House in Umuahia, signals the commencement of the state’s budgetary plans for the upcoming fiscal year.

Governor Otti emphasized that the 2026 budget prioritizes infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and economic empowerment programs, reflecting his administration’s commitment to sustainable growth and improved living standards for Abians.
