Two Die as Anthony Joshua Survives Auto Crash on Lagos–Ibadan Expressway

World-renowned boxer, Anthony Joshua, on Monday narrowly escaped death in a road accident that occurred in Makun, Ogun State, along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway.

The crash reportedly happened around 11:00 a.m. when a Lexus SUV conveying the former world heavyweight champion collided with a stationary truck.

Eyewitnesses at the scene said Joshua sustained minor injuries. However, two persons were confirmed dead in the incident.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the crash, while authorities have since launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
