A former Senator from Abia Central, Senator Chris Adighije, has expressed confidence that Nigeria’s fortunes will improve if President Bola Tinubu continues in office for another four years. He cited recent positive developments, including the decline in fuel prices, as evidence that the president’s policies are beginning to yield results.

Adighije urged residents of Ikwuano and Umuahia South local government areas to support the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the lead-up to the 2027 elections, noting that alignment with the party would help secure continued progress.

Addressing concerns about political competition, he stressed that the APC does not advocate a one-party system and emphasized the importance of democratic participation.

Supporters of President Tinubu have highlighted various achievements and endorsements from political figures as part of the push for continuity, while debates about the country’s political direction continue ahead of the next general elections.
