Fubara Returns, Marks Armed Forces Remembrance Day in Port Harcourt

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has returned to Port Harcourt after a recent trip abroad, although details of the visit were not made public.

On Sunday, the governor attended a special church service at St. Cyprian’s Anglican Church in Port Harcourt to commemorate the 2026 Armed Forces Remembrance Day. He was accompanied by his deputy, Professor Ngozi Odu, as well as other top government officials.

The event marked the first public outing of Governor Fubara and his deputy since the Rivers State House of Assembly initiated fresh impeachment proceedings against him last Thursday.
