Prince Obinna Ejebi (Nzesinachi) has appealed to residents of Abia State to remain resolute in their support for Governor Alex Otti, cautioning against what he described as coordinated verbal assaults and false narratives from opposition forces determined to derail the current administration.
Reacting to recent criticisms directed at the governor, Ejebi described the attacks as desperate moves by political actors unsettled by the pace and direction of governance in the state. He maintained that the criticisms were not borne out of genuine concern for Abia’s welfare but fueled by fear of reforms that are reshaping public administration.
He urged Abians to carefully examine the motives behind the growing wave of rhetoric and to rally behind an administration that has, according to him, proven its commitment to transparency, accountability, and people-centered governance.
Ejebi pointed out that the Otti-led government has brought visible transformation across the state, especially in infrastructure, urban renewal, public services, and general service delivery. He said these improvements are gradually restoring public confidence and placing Abia on the path of long-term development.
He added that residents no longer need propaganda to judge performance, as the results are evident in the ongoing road projects, revived public facilities, and a renewed sense of order in governance. According to him, competence and discipline have replaced noise and empty promises.
Describing Governor Otti as a leader with uncommon prudence in managing public resources, Ejebi said such discipline naturally unsettles those who benefited from the old system. He argued that the intensity of the attacks is a clear sign that meaningful reforms are taking root.
He further called on community leaders, youths, and civil society groups to rise in defense of truth, stressing that supporting the governor does not mean blind loyalty but standing for facts, fairness, and the collective good of the state.
Ejebi concluded by urging Abians to stay united and focused on rebuilding their state, noting that history always favors those who choose progress over politics and results over noise.
