Popular businessman and socialite, Cubana Chiefpriest, has entered the South-East political debate with a strong endorsement of Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti. His statement comes amid criticism from actress Doris Ogala and former governor, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, who claimed Governor Otti has focused more on refurbishing existing roads than building new infrastructure.

Taking to social media, Cubana Chiefpriest declared that only two leaders in the South-East—Governor Otti and Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma—truly demonstrate result-oriented governance.

“Na @he_hopeuzodimma we know as South-East leader. His collaboration with @alexottiofr is enough for us,” he wrote.

He described Governor Otti’s leadership as divinely inspired, citing personal observations of growth in Abia and Imo states.

“Alex Otti is God’s sent to the South-East. I was born and raised in Aba. All my life, I have never witnessed the level of growth I have seen in Abia and Imo these past few years,” he said.

Cubana Chiefpriest emphasized that both governors deliver tangible results rather than media stunts or recycled campaign promises. He warned political opponents against attacking Governor Otti ahead of the 2027 elections, declaring, “Any politician attacking Gov. Alex Otti is evil, and we will take them out from politics come 2027.”

His comments sparked widespread social media reactions, with users praising visible development, political strategy, and the influence of Cubana Chiefpriest in shaping public opinion. Some noted the progress in Owerri and Umuahia, while others debated comparisons between the two governors’ time in office and electoral mandates.

As the political discourse intensifies, Cubana Chiefpriest’s public support of Governor Otti has added momentum to the ongoing South-East governance debate, raising expectations for the region’s future political and developmental trajectory.
