Ali Ndume, Senator representing Borno South, has called on residents of Gwoza Local Government Area to refrain from any form of cooperation with terrorists. He stressed that assisting criminal elements jeopardizes the safety of the community and undermines ongoing security operations.

The lawmaker emphasized the critical role of citizens in the fight against insurgency, urging them to stay vigilant and report anyone suspected of aiding terrorists. According to him, community involvement is key to curbing violence and protecting lives.

Ndume specifically encouraged the public to expose informants or individuals who provide support to insurgent groups. He warned that silence or complicity could worsen insecurity and disrupt peace efforts in the area.

He concluded by urging collaboration between residents and security agencies, stressing that active participation from communities is essential to restore stability and strengthen safety across Borno South.
