In a statement issued on Wednesday, OAU described the judgment as a defining moment for internal democracy, noting that it has restored confidence, order, and direction within the party. He emphasized that the decision reinforces the supremacy of the law and the importance of due process in political affairs.

Hon Uche praised Governor Otti for demonstrating patience, resilience, and unwavering belief in the judicial system throughout the period of uncertainty, stating that such leadership qualities inspire trust among party members and the general public.

He further applauded the judiciary for standing firm on justice, fairness, and constitutional integrity, adding that the ruling will strengthen unity and reposition the party for greater achievements.

Calling for renewed solidarity, Hon Uche urged party faithfuls to close ranks, work collectively, and remain focused on delivering people-centered governance, stressing that this is the time to build, not divide.
