The Rivers State Government has reaffirmed its belief that enduring leadership and societal stability are anchored in divine support rather than human strength alone. The administration says its outlook for peace and development is sustained by faith in God’s guidance over the affairs of the state.

Governor Siminalayi Fubara conveyed this message at the 2026 Holy Ghost Rally of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), held at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt. The governor was represented at the gathering by his deputy, Professor Ngozi Odu.

In his message, the governor noted that the rally’s theme, “The All-Sufficient God,” speaks directly to the realities of leadership in uncertain times. He stressed that while challenges may arise, trust in God provides reassurance that obstacles can be overcome and the future secured.

Fubara emphasized that divine sufficiency becomes most evident when human capacity falls short, adding that wisdom, strength, and provision are not limited when anchored in faith. He described God as the ultimate source of stability in governance and community life.

The governor also praised the RCCG for its continued prayers and moral influence, acknowledging the church’s role in fostering unity, ethical values, and spiritual growth across Rivers State and the country. At the event, RCCG General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, urged worshippers to rely on God’s power to restore and renew situations beyond human repair, describing Him as the answer where hope appears exhausted.
