Fear has spread across a community in Ebonyi State after three toddlers were reportedly abducted by unknown persons from a residential compound located close to a military facility. The incident happened in the early hours, leaving families and neighbors in shock.

According to reports, the kidnappers were three women who had come to visit the landlord of the house and spent the night as guests before taking the children. The victims are all under the age of five. The area, situated opposite an army barracks, has raised concerns among residents about security lapses.

Security operatives have launched an investigation and search operation, visiting the scene and speaking with witnesses. Authorities say efforts are ongoing to trace those responsible and ensure the safe return of the children.

Community leaders have urged calm, advising residents to provide any helpful information to law enforcement while calling for stricter neighborhood security and increased patrols.
