Hon. Lucky Johnson has officially flagged off the construction of the Amanyawu Community Bridge alongside the grading of the linked access road, marking a major step toward improving infrastructure and connectivity in the area.
The flag-off ceremony was attended by the Mayor, traditional leaders, community stakeholders, and other dignitaries, who commended the initiative as a timely intervention that will enhance movement, boost economic activities, and improve the quality of life for residents.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Johnson reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots development, stressing that the project reflects his administration’s resolve to address critical infrastructure needs across communities.
Residents of Amanyawu expressed gratitude for the project, noting that the bridge and road will ease transportation challenges, especially during the rainy season, and open up the community for greater development.
