Two key aides in Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s media team have resigned, sparking discussions about changes within the state government’s communications unit.

Pastor Taiwo Gbamila, who served as Senior Special Assistant on Multimedia, and Mr. Olugbenga Abire, the Special Assistant on New Media, submitted their resignations in quick succession. Both expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve but did not disclose the reasons behind their decisions.

Following their resignations, Abire posted a personal note online reflecting on his time in government and pledging continued support for the administration from outside official duties. Gbamila also highlighted his gratitude for the experience and the chance to contribute to public service initiatives.

Observers note that the departures may signal a restructuring of the governor’s communication team as the administration prepares for upcoming projects and political activities.
