Neo Akpofure, a former contestant of the TV show Big Brother Naija, has begun legal steps against a social media user over a serious misconduct allegation made online.

Through his lawyers, the reality star rejected the claim and described it as false and harmful to his public image. His legal representatives said the statement circulated on social platforms has caused reputational damage and emotional distress.

The legal notice reportedly demands an immediate public withdrawal of the allegation, a written apology, and removal of the related posts. The team warned that failure to comply within the stated deadline would lead to a defamation lawsuit.

The dispute has since sparked debate across social media, with supporters and critics sharing mixed reactions while awaiting the accuser’s response and any further legal action.
