Cubana Chief Priest Says South-East Partnership With Bola Tinubu Could Shift Political Future

Celebrity businessman Cubana Chief Priest has advised leaders and residents of the South-East to consider working more closely with President Bola Tinubu, saying cooperation with the current administration could help address key regional concerns, including the continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu.

Speaking through a social media post reacting to a traditional ruler’s public appeal to the presidency, the socialite commended the move and described dialogue and political alignment as more productive than confrontation. He argued that engagement with those in power often produces better results than standing apart from the system.

He further noted that building bridges with the federal government could improve the South-East’s bargaining position and create room for negotiations on sensitive matters affecting the region and supporters of the Indigenous People of Biafra.

According to him, long-term political collaboration at the national level could also strengthen the zone’s chances of achieving broader goals in future leadership contests if trust and partnerships are established early.
