The Ebonyi State Government has expressed appreciation to the World Bank for its support in strengthening the state’s healthcare system, assuring that the gains recorded from the collaboration will be sustained.

Officials in the state noted that the partnership has significantly improved access to medical services, boosted infrastructure, and enhanced the delivery of essential health programmes across communities. They described the intervention as a key driver in ongoing efforts to upgrade public health standards.

The government reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining and expanding these initiatives, emphasizing that healthcare remains a priority under its development agenda. Authorities said measures are already in place to ensure continuity, even as external support phases evolve.

Stakeholders also highlighted the importance of sustained investment and local ownership in preserving progress, stressing that consistent funding and policy backing will be crucial to keeping the health sector on an upward path.
