Otti Tightens Rules for Media Briefings, Demands Higher Standards from Journalists

Governor Alex Otti has introduced stricter guidelines for press interactions, urging journalists to raise the quality of engagement during his monthly media briefings.

Speaking during a recent session, the governor made it clear that only meaningful and well-thought-out questions would be entertained going forward. He stressed that the era of loosely structured contributions had gone on for too long and that it was time to improve the standard of discourse.

Otti noted that media engagements should reflect professionalism and purpose, adding that participants must come prepared with clear and relevant questions. According to him, asking questions without substance undermines the value of the platform and distracts from important discussions.

He explained that his firm stance during the session was deliberate, aimed at setting a new tone for future interactions between the government and the press.
