Traditional leaders across Abia State, alongside chairmen from all 17 local government areas, have expressed strong approval of Governor Alex Otti’s performance, particularly in the areas of security, infrastructure, and governance reforms.

The endorsement followed a strategic meeting held at the governor’s residence in Nvosi, where discussions centered on evaluating ongoing government initiatives and strengthening cooperation between state authorities and traditional institutions.

Speaking on behalf of the royal fathers, the chairman of the state’s traditional rulers council, Eze Linus Nto-Mba, praised the administration for making notable progress in improving safety and driving development across communities. He highlighted that recent infrastructure projects, especially road construction, have enhanced movement, stimulated economic activity, and improved daily life for residents.

According to him, the visit was not only to review government efforts but also to acknowledge visible achievements and encourage the administration to maintain its development momentum. He noted that many of the policies introduced have had a direct positive impact on citizens, restoring public confidence in leadership.

The monarch further pointed to improvements in healthcare, education, and consistent payment of salaries and pensions as clear signs of responsible governance. He added that these efforts have helped reposition the state for long-term growth.

Reaffirming their commitment, the traditional rulers pledged continued support for the governor, stressing the need for sustained leadership to consolidate ongoing projects and maintain the pace of transformation in the state.
