Abia State Governor Alex Otti has inaugurated a modern beverage production facility in the Osisioma area of Aba, describing it as a major step toward revitalizing the city’s industrial sector. The plant, built by Ultimum Beverages, is seen as a key driver for boosting manufacturing activities in one of southeastern Nigeria’s most important commercial hubs.
At the launch, the governor emphasized the positive impact such investments can have on the local economy, noting that new factories like this can encourage more businesses to invest in the region. He described the project as a critical move toward restoring Aba as a vibrant center for industry and job creation.
The facility is expected to create numerous employment opportunities across production, logistics, and management. It is also anticipated to support local suppliers and service providers as operations expand, generating wider economic benefits for the community.
This inauguration is part of a broader effort to attract private sector investment to Abia State. Governor Otti highlighted that developments like this signal renewed confidence in the area’s economic potential and lay a foundation for future industrial growth.
