Abia State Governor, has called on fellow South-East governors to unite in upgrading the Nigerian Law School campus located in Enugu.
Speaking during an engagement with legal stakeholders, Otti highlighted the poor condition of infrastructure at the campus, stressing that urgent intervention is needed. He noted that a collective effort by leaders in the region would provide a stronger and more sustainable solution to the challenges facing the institution.
The governor urged that the South-East Governors’ Forum be actively involved in coordinating the initiative, emphasizing that collaboration would help mobilize the necessary resources to improve facilities and enhance the quality of legal education.
Legal practitioners present at the meeting also expressed concern over the state of the campus, pointing out that several structures have deteriorated and require immediate rehabilitation.
Otti further praised members of the legal profession for their contributions to justice and governance, encouraging them to remain actively engaged in shaping society.
He reiterated his administration’s commitment to advancing education, noting that efforts are ongoing to strengthen institutions and improve learning conditions across Abia State.
