The Delta State chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) has clarified that a medical report circulating online, shared by social media personality Blessing Okoro, also known as Blessing CEO, does not belong to her. The NMA confirmed that the histology report was issued to another patient and was not intended for Okoro.

The association explained that the original lab result was generated for a woman referred for a confirmatory breast cancer test and that there is no record linking the report to Blessing CEO. An authentic version of the report, bearing the real patient’s details, has also surfaced, highlighting discrepancies in the version shared online.

Blessing CEO had drawn attention earlier by announcing she was battling stage four breast cancer and seeking financial assistance for treatment, even shaving her head in the process. She reportedly raised significant funds before questions arose about the legitimacy of her diagnosis.

As the case gained scrutiny, critics demanded accountability, with some donors calling for refunds after learning about the disputed document. Blessing CEO has since given mixed responses, sometimes denying the severity of her condition and describing inconsistencies as misunderstandings rather than deliberate misrepresentation.
