Woman Collapses, Dies While Waiting for Child During UTME

A somber mood gripped Ilara-Mokin Junction in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State after a woman, identified as Oluwasola Victoria Adebayo, suddenly passed away while waiting for her daughter during the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

Witnesses said the woman had escorted her child to the examination venue early in the day but began feeling unwell shortly after arriving at the junction. She reportedly complained of weakness before collapsing unexpectedly.

People nearby rushed to her aid in an attempt to revive her, but their efforts were unsuccessful, and she was confirmed dead at the scene.

At the time of the incident, her daughter was said to be inside the examination hall, unaware of the situation unfolding outside.

A local resident, who knew the deceased as “Mommy Ayo,” revealed that she had mentioned earlier that morning she would accompany her daughter to the exam centre, a decision that tragically became her final outing.
