Hon Chinasa Anthony Abiola has congratulated the Chief Whip of the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon Emeka Obioma, on his conferment with the prestigious Pillar of Faith Award by the Methodist Church Nigeria, Diocese of Umuahia West.
The honour was bestowed on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at St Stephen’s Methodist Cathedral of Redemption, Amachara, in recognition of Hon Obioma’s sacrifices, steadfast faith, and contributions to the church and society.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after the church service, Hon Abiola described the award as a well deserved recognition of a life devoted to service and godliness. He noted that Hon Obioma has remained consistent in his commitment to uplifting humanity, both in his political office and personal walk of faith.
According to him, the Pillar of Faith Award reflects not just spiritual dedication but also the impact of Hon Obioma’s leadership, which continues to inspire many across Abia State and beyond.
Hon Abiola commended the Methodist Church Nigeria for honouring individuals who have distinguished themselves through service and sacrifice, adding that such recognition encourages others to remain committed to faith and community development.
