The Police Service Commission (PSC) in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force has announced dates for the written examination for candidates seeking recruitment into the constable cadre in Rivers State and across the country.

According to the announcement, the examination will hold between April 28 and April 30, 2026, at designated centres nationwide, including Rivers State. The exercise is part of the ongoing recruitment process for qualified applicants who passed earlier physical and credential screenings.

Only shortlisted candidates are eligible to participate in the exam. Authorities advised applicants to visit the official recruitment portal to print their examination slips, which will contain important details such as the specific date, time, and venue of their test.

The PSC also reiterated that the recruitment exercise remains completely free of charge and warned applicants to be cautious of fraudsters or individuals demanding money in exchange for placement.

Successful candidates from the examination stage will move forward in the selection process as the recruitment continues across the federation.
