The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has published the list of candidates shortlisted for the upcoming computer-based test (CBT) in the ongoing recruitment exercise for Nigeria’s paramilitary agencies.

This announcement was made in a statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja by the Board’s Secretary, retired Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jubril.

According to the statement, the shortlisted candidates are those who applied to the Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

Applicants have been advised to visit the official recruitment portal — https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng — from Thursday, October 30, 2025, to confirm their shortlist status and obtain details of their CBT centres.

“From Thursday, October 30, candidates should check if they have been shortlisted for the next phase of the exercise and take note of their examination centres, dates, and times,” the statement read.

The Board also cautioned applicants to use only the verified recruitment portal to avoid falling victim to online scams.

Earlier in August, it was reported that a total of 1,911,141 Nigerians had applied for the recruitment exercise before the portal closed on August 11.
