Kano Enhances Security Readiness as Governor Yusuf Donates Vehicles, Motorcycles to JTF

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has bolstered security operations with the distribution of 10 vehicles and 50 motorcycles to the Joint Task Force (JTF).

The support aims to improve rapid response and operational effectiveness, particularly in frontline Local Government Areas such as Kiru, Tsanyawa, Kunchi, Ghari, Shanono, Tudun Wada, and Doguwa.

In a statement issued by the Governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the handover took place on Wednesday at the Government House, Kano. The allocation documents were presented by the Director of Special Services, Umar Baba Zubairu, on behalf of the Director General, Special Services, Major General Sani Muhammad (rtd).

The JTF Commander, AM Tukur, was represented by his Chief of Staff, while officials from the Police Command, DSS, NSCDC, and chairmen of Kiru, Tsanyawa, and Gwarzo LGAs were also in attendance.

Governor Yusuf reiterated his administration’s resolve to strengthen security architecture and support joint efforts aimed at protecting lives and property throughout the state.
