The Ndigbo Renaissance Youth Forum has thrown its full support behind Hon Obi Aguocha, commending him for his steadfast advocacy and his recent appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to consider political and diplomatic options for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who is serving a life imprisonment sentence.

In a statement released in Umuahia, the youth group said they were standing firmly behind Aguocha, “pathing him by the back” to show solidarity and confidence in his efforts. They noted that at a time when many leaders shy away from sensitive national issues, Aguocha has remained courageous, consistent, and focused on peace.

The group stressed that his call for diplomatic and political engagement represents a mature approach aimed at easing tensions in the Southeast and promoting national unity. They described his leadership as calm, purposeful, and guided by fairness.

According to the Ndigbo Renaissance Youth Forum, it is important for Aguocha to remain undeterred by criticisms or political misinterpretations. They urged him not to give up, insisting that his voice is needed now more than ever.

The group reaffirmed that they stand solidly behind him and will continue to support every peaceful and lawful move geared towards justice, stability, and the protection of citizens’ rights across the region.
