Veteran Nigerian artiste Digidi Dunhill has ignited fresh debate after claiming that celebrated singer Innocent “2Face” Idibia has experienced prolonged emotional and physical mistreatment from women he loved. Dunhill shared the revelation on Thursday, reflecting on their long friendship and early years in the music industry.

According to him, many of the women who entered relationships with the star were drawn more to his fame than to his true personality. He stated that most were attracted to the image of “Tuface” the celebrity, rather than Innocent Idibia the man, adding that the singer’s gentle and humble nature often made him vulnerable to being taken advantage of emotionally.

Dunhill recounted a notable incident at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, where 2Face had planned a brief trip to the United Kingdom. Before the journey could take place, a woman reportedly confronted the singer at the airport, causing a public scene that disrupted the plans and ultimately led to the trip being cancelled, resulting in a financial loss for the artiste.

He stressed that such episodes were not isolated, claiming that the singer has repeatedly sought genuine love only to end up hurt. Dunhill’s comments have triggered widespread online discussions, with fans reassessing public perceptions of 2Face’s past relationships. As of the time of this report, the music star has not responded to the allegations.
