Telecommunications provider Globacom has confirmed a major network outage that disrupted mobile data services for customers across Nigeria on Tuesday morning. The incident affected users in multiple states, leaving many unable to access the internet for hours.

In a brief statement, the company acknowledged the service failure and apologised for the inconvenience caused to subscribers. Glo said its engineering teams were immediately deployed to identify the source of the problem and restore connectivity as quickly as possible.

The outage caused widespread complaints on social media, as customers expressed frustration over interrupted communication, business operations and online activities. Globacom reassured users that normal service would be fully restored once technical issues were resolved and thanked customers for their patience.
