The Police Service Commission (PSC) has opened applications for 50,000 new police officers across Nigeria in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF). The recruitment drive, approved by President Bola Tinubu, aims to strengthen law enforcement and improve public safety nationwide.

Interested Nigerians can submit their applications online starting December 15, 2025, with the portal remaining open until January 25, 2026. The process will cover positions in General Duty as well as Specialist roles.

Applicants are required to meet minimum educational qualifications, age limits, and fitness standards. The PSC has stressed that the recruitment is free, transparent, and merit-based, warning the public against any fraudulent agents claiming to facilitate entry.

The commission encourages all eligible candidates to take advantage of this opportunity to serve their country and support national security initiatives.
