The Fusengbuwa Ruling House of Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, has invalidated the lineage claim submitted by Otunba Wasiu Ayinde Adewale Olasunkanmi Adesanya, declaring his Ruling House Members Particulars and Linkage Form “null, void and of no effect.”
In a letter dated December 11, 2025 and sent to Otunba Adesanya at his GRA residence, the ruling house confirmed receiving his completed form, which was signed on December 10, 2025. However, the family expressed major concerns regarding both the certification process and the credibility of the information provided.
A key issue raised was that the form was certified on December 8, 2025—two days before Adesanya signed it—suggesting that the document may have been endorsed prematurely.
The ruling house further stated that the form lacked a signature from any authorised representative of the claimant’s alleged family unit. They added that the certifying individual, Omoba Adetayo Abayomi Oduneye Eruobodo, is not recognised as a member of the Jadiara Royal House and therefore has no authority to validate such documents.
Following a detailed investigation, the family reported that there was no evidence linking Otunba Adesanya to either the Jadiara Royal House or the Fusengbuwa Ruling House.
With these findings, the ruling house rejected his claim to royal ancestry and declared his submitted lineage form invalid. The letter ended on a polite note, wishing him well in his future pursuits.
This development marks a new chapter in the unfolding conversations around royal identity and lineage verification in Ijebu-Ode, with many expecting further reactions from interested parties.
