Nigerian TikTok stars Amadou Elizabeth, popularly known as Jarvis, and Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, have officially ended their relationship.

Jarvis confirmed the breakup herself after a week of heightened public drama, which followed reports of Peller’s involvement in a car crash and his subsequent emotional distress. The announcement has put an end to months of speculation surrounding the couple, whose relationship unfolded largely in the public eye on social media.

The pair, known for their viral collaborations and frequent online disputes, had built a highly visible and often turbulent romance that kept millions of followers engaged. However, recent events appear to have marked the final chapter of their relationship.

Peller was reportedly involved in an accident shortly after a troubling video of him surfaced online, in which he appeared emotionally distressed. He later went live on Instagram, thanking fans while visibly overwhelmed. The crash occurred on Sunday along the Lekki–Epe Expressway in Lagos during the live session and involved his newly acquired Mercedes-Benz.

Addressing the public, Jarvis clarified their relationship status while responding to a statement allegedly made earlier by Peller. She stated unequivocally that they were no longer together, providing the closure many followers had been seeking.

“He said that we are no longer together, and I am also telling you the same thing: we are no longer together,” she said.

Expressing her emotional struggle, Jarvis added, “I tried. You guys, I’ve tried. Why me? Why me now? What did I do? You guys know the truth.”

The breakup, long anticipated by fans due to repeated public arguments, allegations of toxicity, and previous short-lived separations, was described by Jarvis as necessary. She emphasized that the decision should not be seen as abandonment.

“Peller is a sweet guy. I didn’t even want it to end, but it has happened,” she said. “The relationship is not the focus right now. It’s not about going back to who we were. The solution is for us to put our heads together and work on him, to help him become better. This is not just about not talking; it’s about ending the relationship. For now, it is over.”

Jarvis further explained that the separation was intended to create space for healing and personal growth.

Although reports indicate that Peller received medical attention following the crash, details about the extent of his injuries have not been officially confirmed.
