Real Estate Leader Teams Up With Imo Government to Expand Free Healthcare Access

Chief Success Akagburuonye, a prominent real estate entrepreneur, has announced a new collaboration with the Imo State Government to offer free medical services to people across the state.

Speaking at a thanksgiving event in Aboh Mbaise, Akagburuonye said his organisation will work closely with the Imo State Health Insurance Agency to roll out the programme, appointing coordinators at zonal and local government levels to ensure smooth implementation.

He stressed that this effort is meant to support, not replace, government healthcare services and will especially benefit women and the most vulnerable communities. According to him, good health is essential for personal and community development.

The project is expected to strengthen the existing Imo Care programme that currently covers millions of residents. Akagburuonye also spoke about his personal life during the event and shared plans for a football match to celebrate his 60th birthday and his alma mater’s 50th anniversary.
