Gov. Otti Chairs Monthly Security Council Meeting, Assures Abians of Continued Peace and Safety



Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, yesterday, January 28, chaired the monthly Security Council Meeting with heads of security agencies and paramilitary organisations operating in the state. The meeting focused on assessing the current security situation and reviewing strategies aimed at sustaining peace and public order across Abia.

Briefing journalists after the session, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security Matters, Navy Commander MacDonald Ubah (Rtd), assured residents that Abia remains safe and secure. He cautioned criminals against testing the government’s resolve, stressing that the administration is fully committed to protecting lives and property.

Commander Ubah also urged citizens to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities, while continuing their lawful pursuits without fear. He reaffirmed that ensuring the safety of Abians remains a top priority of the Otti-led administration.
