Anambra Officials Dismiss Rumors of Flyover Cracks

The Anambra State Government has denied circulating reports claiming that the newly constructed Ekwulobia Flyover in Aguata Local Government Area has structural defects. Officials clarified that the bridge is safe, fully functional, and open to the public.

In a statement, the government described the viral claims as false and misleading. They stressed that the flyover underwent rigorous inspections by certified engineers and passed all safety evaluations.

The flyover, stretching approximately 300 metres and featuring connecting roads and a modern bus terminal, was built to meet high construction standards. Authorities reaffirmed that the structure is sound and ready for use.

Residents were urged to ignore the misinformation circulating online and to anticipate the official commissioning of the bridge, which marks a significant infrastructure milestone for the state.
