At Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, several wall clocks that display times for major world cities were recently repaired after a pilot raised concerns online.

The pilot had shared images showing clocks in the arrivals area — meant to show times for Lagos, Beijing, the UAE, New York, and London — that were all stopped. He noted that the problem seemed simple enough to fix, likely just needing battery replacements.

The post quickly drew reactions from social media users, with many criticizing the lack of maintenance at one of the country’s busiest airports.

In response to the public attention, airport authorities fixed the clocks, ensuring they now show the correct times. The pilot later praised the swift action once the issue was brought to light.
