APC Chieftain Defends Tinubu’s Reforms, Urges Nigerians to Be Patient

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, Dr. Mohammad Musa Zango, has expressed optimism that Nigeria will experience meaningful economic growth under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

Zango, a retired federal civil servant, acknowledged that the Federal Government’s current economic policies and reforms may bring temporary hardships. However, he said such measures are necessary to build a stronger and more resilient nation.

Speaking with journalists in Kano on Monday, he explained that the reforms introduced by the government are aimed at repositioning the country’s economy for sustainable growth while also strengthening national security.

He appealed to Nigerians to remain patient and support the implementation of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which he said is designed to stimulate development across key sectors of the economy.

Zango commended what he described as the administration’s bold leadership and reform-driven policies, noting that efforts are being made to boost economic productivity, improve infrastructure, expand energy development, promote social inclusion, and strengthen democratic institutions.

He also called on Nigerians, regardless of political affiliation, to support the APC-led government and align with its reform agenda.

According to him, the policies introduced by the administration are meant to reposition the economy for sustainable progress and promote development nationwide. He added that the achievements recorded in the country’s gas sector are particularly remarkable.

Zango further reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC leadership at both the state and national levels, expressing confidence that the party would record a resounding victory in the 2027 general elections.

He urged party members to begin mobilising support ahead of the elections, pledging to work toward securing President Tinubu’s re-election and the return of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf in Kano State.

The APC chieftain also described the recent state congress of the party as a demonstration of unity, discipline, and democratic values within its ranks.

He called on party stakeholders, youth groups, women’s organisations, and supporters to strengthen unity and intensify grassroots mobilisation as preparations for the 2027 elections begin.
