Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo has stepped up efforts to ensure schools operate fully after years of disruption from the Monday sit‑at‑home orders. He visited multiple schools across the state to personally encourage students and teachers to return to classrooms and resume normal learning activities.

During his visit, Governor Soludo emphasized the need for consistent school attendance and urged principals and teachers to maintain discipline in recording students’ presence. He also reassured school communities that security arrangements have been strengthened to guarantee the safety of everyone on campus.

The sit‑at‑home movement had previously forced schools and businesses to shut down, causing significant interruptions to academic schedules. Although officially lifted, its lingering effects had continued to keep attendance low and disrupt learning routines across the state.

Governor Soludo’s initiative signals a determined push by the state government to restore stability in education. By actively engaging with schools and monitoring attendance, the administration aims to help students recover lost time and foster a culture of uninterrupted learning in Anambra.
