A flight operated by United Nigeria Airlines experienced a major disruption after a bird strike affected one of its aircraft, leading to delays and cancellations.

The incident happened during a scheduled trip from Asaba to Lagos when a bird collided with the plane, prompting immediate safety action. The airline quickly withdrew the affected aircraft from service to allow for necessary checks.

As a result, several flights were impacted, leaving passengers facing delays and changes to their travel plans. The disruption spread across the airline’s schedule due to the temporary unavailability of the aircraft.

United Nigeria Airlines apologized to passengers for the inconvenience, explaining that the situation was unexpected. The airline also reassured travellers that safety remains its top concern and that all required inspections would be completed before the aircraft resumes operation.
