In Rivers State, new initiatives were unveiled to upgrade hospitals, equip clinics with modern medical devices, and increase the number of trained healthcare personnel to serve communities more effectively.

Kwara State officials highlighted efforts to introduce digital health systems for patient records, aiming to streamline services and reduce waiting times in hospitals and primary healthcare centres.

In Kogi State, authorities stressed the importance of community engagement, preventive care programs, and partnerships with private health providers to expand access to essential services.

At the national level, the government outlined plans to increase budgetary support for healthcare, focusing on building new facilities, renovating existing ones, and improving emergency response systems.

The nationwide efforts reflect a commitment to ensuring that Nigerians have access to quality healthcare while promoting innovation and evidence-based policies in line with global health priorities.
