NDDC Rejects Claims of Favouritism in Allocation of Jobs and Projects

The Niger Delta Development Commission has dismissed allegations suggesting that employment opportunities and development projects were unfairly channelled to a specific political constituency.

Responding to the accusations, the commission described the claims as misleading and lacking factual basis. Officials insisted that its programmes and project allocations follow established procedures designed to ensure fairness across all states in the Niger Delta region.

According to the commission, its mandate remains focused on addressing infrastructure deficits and improving living conditions in oil-producing communities.
