Tinubu Dismisses Finance, Housing Ministers in Fresh Cabinet Shake-Up

Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu, has carried out a major shake-up in his cabinet, removing Wale Edun from his role as Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy.

Also affected by the changes is Ahmed Muda Dangiwa, who has been relieved of his duties as Minister of Housing and Urban Development.

The development was formally disclosed in an official communication issued by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume.

Following the decision, Edun has been instructed to transfer responsibilities to Taiwo Oyedele, who has been appointed to oversee the finance ministry and coordinate the nation’s economic policies going forward.
