The Member representing Umuahia Central State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Honourable Chinasa Anthony, popularly known as Abiola, has expressed deep appreciation to the people of Afaraukwu Ancient Kingdom for passing a vote of confidence on him and endorsing him for a second term in office.
In a statement made available to newsmen, Honourable Chinasa described the gesture as a humbling show of trust and confidence in his leadership, noting that such overwhelming support from his constituents serves as a strong motivation to continue delivering quality representation.
He specifically commended the Afaraukwu youths, led by their President, Comrade Alozie Irokansi, as well as traditional leaders and stakeholders of the Ancient Kingdom, for what he described as a bold and collective decision rooted in sincerity and appreciation of his efforts so far.
The lawmaker reiterated that his achievements, including road infrastructure, youth empowerment programmes, educational support, and provision of basic amenities, were driven by his commitment to improving the welfare of his people. He assured constituents that more impactful projects and policies would be attracted to Umuahia Central if given another opportunity to serve.
