The Member representing Umuahia Central State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Chinasa Anthony Abiola, has been honoured with an Excellence Award by the Men of the Diocese of Umuahia Anglican Communion in recognition of his outstanding contributions to community development and public service.
Receiving the award, Hon. Abiola expressed deep appreciation to the Bishop of the Diocese of Umuahia Anglican Communion, Rt. Rev. Dr. Geoffrey Ibeabuchi, for his exemplary spiritual leadership and commitment to the growth of the church.
The lawmaker also commended the men of the Diocese for their unity, togetherness, and unwavering dedication to the advancement of the church and society. He noted that their collective efforts have continued to make a positive impact on communities across the Diocese.
Describing the award as symbolic and highly significant, Hon. Abiola said the recognition would inspire him to remain committed to selfless service and effective representation of his constituents.
He thanked the leadership and members of the men’s fellowship for finding him worthy of the honour and pledged to continue supporting initiatives that promote development, peace, and the welfare of the people.
