A civic group under the banner of United Voices of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi has described Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah, member representing the federal constituency at the National Assembly, as “Onwa”—the moon that shines for all. The group said Ogah has become a symbol of light, hope, and direction for the people.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after a consultative meeting, the group praised Ogah for his leadership style, accessibility, and the growing legacy of impact he is building. According to them, his emergence fulfilled their long-standing prayer for a representative who speaks boldly, acts selflessly, and carries the people along.

“Hon. Amobi Ogah is like the moon that gives light to everyone regardless of class or location,” said Mrs. Ngozi Arisa, spokesperson of the group. “That is why we now call him Onwa Isuikwuato/Umunneochi. He has shown leadership that is rare—listening to the people, empowering the youth, sponsoring meaningful bills, and standing firm for us in Abuja.”

The group commended Ogah’s initiatives in human capital development, support for local entrepreneurs, education and skills empowerment, and consistent grassroots engagement. They encouraged him to remain focused and assured him of their continued support.

They further described Ogah as a unifier, a peace-builder, and a torchbearer whose humility, courage, and performance have elevated the political consciousness of the constituency. “Onwa is not just a nickname,” the group said, “it is a reflection of the light he brings into our lives-steady, reliable, and always present when it matters most.”

“Onwa doesn’t struggle to shine,” they added. “It shines naturally—and that is exactly what Amobi Ogah is doing for our people.”
